Boathouse Row
One of Philadelphia's signature sights, Boathouse Row provides a somewhat late Victorian aspect to the Schulkill River front. The boathouses are simple, roomy and functional. The Undine Barge Club, erected 1882-83, was designed by Frank Furness whose buildings are encountered throughout the city. The clubs outline their boathouses with lights — always an enchanting sight for those driving the opposite side of the river by night.
Proceed west on Kelley Drive a short distance until you come to the Sedgeley Club
