Shofuso Japanese House and Garden
We end at the Shofuso Japanese House and Garden. This charming house, serenely situated, was first on display in the garden of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Later it was transferred to the park and given its proper setting. It is a reconstruction of a 17th century Japanese scholar's house, teahouse, and garden. The garden is enhanced by a pool and waterfall. The teahouse is a quiet spot in the park, ideal for reflection.
